The word “sin” is an archery term that means to miss the mark. This door decoration is an attempt to help the children learn the concept of sin by using this comparison. I use it as a door decoration because it can fit in a small place but it can also be used on a regular sized bulletin board. It could possibly be used in a project folder as well. The students enjoy getting to put the arrows up.
The target is made of 4 poster board circles. I just cut a bunch of arrows using the paper cutter and keep them in the classroom. When it’s time to add another one to the door, I write the name of the person on the arrow and attach a piece of tape to the back.
