The Parable of the Tenants was studied during our Old Testament Prophets study. The tenants treated the land owner’s son just like the Jews treated God’s Son. A fitting study for the end of our prophets study. Text: Matthew 21:33-46, Mark 12:1-12, Luke 20:9-19

This is a sequencing activity.

While talking about the parable, I used a slide show on my laptop as a visual aid. The pictures were the same as those in the activity. They can be found and are under the creative commons license at www.freebibleimages.com. I chose the pictures specific to the parable for the sequencing activity to keep the number of pictures an easy number for the student to manage.

During class, the student will put the pictures in order.

Then he can turn each picture over. If the pictures are in the correct order, the scripture “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone?” Luke 20:17 will be in order.
