These two activities were on going throughout the quarter about God’s Prophets in The New Living Bible Lessons. As we came across one of the vocabulary words or one of the prophets, the student would write the definition or a description of the prophet under the appropriate flap.
Definitions were kept very simple. If you’d like to use the ones I did, you can find them on the bulletin board page.
I didn’t keep a list of the descriptions of the prophets but they were kept simple as well. For instance, Isaiah’s description was: A messianic prophet. You can use whatever description is appropriate for the age of your students. Older students might copy a key verse from the prophet. To be honest, we didn’t get them all filled in. The book we were using introduced 9 prophets in the last 3 lessons. There was so much other wonderful things to learn, we just managed to write a description of one prophet per class session. Do whatever fits the needs of your students.
This activity is part of the project folder found here: God’s Prophets Project Folder
