Psalm 1 Booklet

by | Jul 4, 2012 | Foldables | 3 comments

This little booklet will familiarize the students with Psalm 1.  I have used something similar in a memory notebook.  We won’t have time to memorize this wonderful Psalm so this activity will have to suffice.  In this activity, the student will read a page, decide which of the pictures provided it describes and glue it to the page.  The last page of the book is a Question/Answer activity that is self-checking.  Students match the question to the answer.  If they are correct, they will be rewarded with a picture.  The activity can be sent home at the end of class or added to the Poetry project folder.

Thank you so much! I love your ideas. I am now working on your Nooks of the bible wall decoration.

I have just recently discovered your website and have been looking over all your cool ideas. Where do you get the flip charts?

Hi Paula, I’m glad you discovered my site. I made the flip charts. My main source for pictures are under copyright so I can’t share them with you but you can make your own with The Beginner’s Bible Cards by James Leninger. They are no longer being published so you’ll probably have to buy them used. They used to be sold by Scholastic in one of those deals where they send you a couple of packs of cards every 6 weeks or so. I never got the complete set but I have 3 box worth.
