There are 7 of the miracles Jesus performed recorded in the book of John. John said that “these things were written that you may believe”. While the other gospels have more miracles recorded, John tells us that these 7 are sufficient to instill a strong faith in Jesus’ deity.
The activity is actually seven 2-piece puzzles.
One side of the puzzle has a picture representing a miracle.
The other side has the a description of the miracle or a scripture reference where the miracle is found.
The best way to go about solving them is to separate them into 2 stacks — one with the description pieces, the other with the scripture references.
The student should look up and read the scripture and then match it to the description found in the passage.
If the match is correct, when he turns over the cards he will see a picture representing the miracles.
The pictures came from the Beginner Bible Cards. Any appropriate visual would work.
this is great! may i know your source of the pictures?
